That’s not to say that everyone who needs an app are new businesses, or that all apps sit at the core of a business, however apps today play an integral part of a business*.
As such we recognise that creating an app is much more that creating a product –it’s a proposition, a service offering an extension of your business ethos onto a user’s personal device. We could sit down with you and ask you what you want the app to do and build it (which many companies will do!) but that would ensure that we missed a whole host of opportunities to do something epic along the way!

Our process ensures that we sit down with you, the experts of what you do (or want to do) and listen… We often will then challenge, suggest and refine – all the while bringing our expertise and knowledge to bear on the solution. In essence our process consists of five steps; Discover, Shape, Build, Release, Evolve which while it can be considered linear are anything but!
First we’re all ears – we want to know what you do – why you do it – why it’s awesome. We want to know when you first thought ‘We need an app’ and why you thought it! We want to know what the journey has been like to the day you meet us. We want to know about your users – and if you don’t know who they are yet – we want to work with you to find out who they are.
Then we align what you want with what they want.
We’ll take this cocktail of intangible elements and bring our combined user interface design expertise, deep understanding of the mobile platforms, technical expertise and good old business analysis to attack and shape them into a tangible solution.
These skills are brought to bear by a team of specialists and is an area where we really shine. We truly like nothing more than exploring solutions, proposing ideas, filling the office waste paper basket until we have something we think meets your needs and the needs of your users.
Once we have a first draft of the wireframes we will show it to you to get your feedback and advice and evolve it until we have something we all agree upon.
The beauty of our processes is that the team building your app will have been involved in every step so far and therefore have a deep understanding of not just what the app needs to do now, but why it needs to do it and some vision of what it needs to do in the future.
In reading this so far you might have come away with the idea that we are all a bit fluffy at Compsoft Creative – all froth and no bean, this couldn’t not be farther from the truth – our history is steeped in technical knowhow and project delivery due diligence. In short we have the required technical gravitas to back up our creativity.
During the build you will be kept up to date on progress by the project delivery team, you will have access to builds so you can preview them and will be taken through the testing and quality assurance process by our dedicated QA team.
During these early days our QA team kicks into overdrive as your app is closely monitored during the warranty period so we can jump on any issues that crept through the testing process (which will happen, anyone who tells you otherwise is lying), monitor user numbers and user behaviour.
