Accommodation and surfing school Reef Surf of Newquay, Cornwall, has been using a bespoke application designed by Compsoft since 2006. The specialist booking system, developed using Compsoft's own Equinox database development tool, was required to support the company during a demanding time of high growth.
Nearly one year since taking the system live, Reef Surf now enjoys the benefits of a unique system which manages group bookings via their call centre in Newquay. Operators field bookings with greater ease and speed; collating the details of the selected dates, accommodation, equipment hire, lessons and customer’s payment details in one short transaction. The flexibility of the system allows holiday-makers to tailor a package to their specific needs.
Kevin Goudge, a key user of the application, said “we’ve found the application makes a great difference to the booking system. We’re able to log issues and keep track of them more efficiently. Any teething problems we’ve had have been dealt with under Compsoft’s support contract in a very professional way.”
