Compsoft plc announces Microsoft Gold Certified Partner status

February 7, 2007, Alton, Hampshire. Compsoft plc announces Microsoft Gold Certified Partner status.

Today it was announced that Compsoft had achieved Microsoft’s highest partnership level; Gold Certified Partner. This recognition comes from obtaining an additional competency, Data Management Solutions (Business Intelligence), which is an excellent match for Compsoft’s skills and expertise.

Compsoft has been using Microsoft technologies, predominantly C++, for many years to build its own database development tool, Equinox. However, over the past three years Compsoft has increasingly been building bespoke web-based systems using Microsoft .NET, the latest generation of programming tools.

In September 2006, Compsoft was first recognised as a Certified Partner and continued to develop its skill base to meet the high expectations required from Gold Partners. Of the appointment, Managing Director Phil Lenton commented "Obtaining this partnership level not only gives us fabulous access to the latest Microsoft technologies and licenses for many of their products, but it also significantly enhances our image in front of current and prospective customers.

"There has been a real team effort over the past year or more in obtaining this."

As a Gold Partner, Compsoft is entitled to access of Microsoft’s resources, tools and exclusive information designed to enhance the partner’s product delivery. In addition, the use of the Microsoft Gold Certified Partner logo as part of Compsoft’s branding provides a visual recognition of quality and skill accredited to the bespoke development work undertaken.
