ICB Endorses Compsoft

Hampshire-based software and database consultancy Compsoft Plc, has received an endorsement from appointed supervisory body The Institute of Certified Bookkeepers following the training, consultancy and development provided.

The Institute of Chartered Bookkeepers - a .NET customerThe Institute of Certified Bookkeepers is a supervisory body of bookkeepers, monitoring training to certification and providing ongoing support to its members. This activity includes managing the registration of its members, orchestrating the accreditation of bookkeepers and providing a service in support of bookkeepers.

James Carter, the Institute’s Director of IT, called on Compsoft when the organisation was facing usability issues with the existing website; it was written in PHP and had a few inconvenient bugs and the interactivity with an Access database didn’t meet all of the business’s needs. Something new was required, something more reliable and more robust. Confident he could undertake some of the .NET development, James needed an established partner to support him:

“Our project with Compsoft involved two elements one being a new website, the other training and the development of a new database to work with the new website.

“We required a website CMS (Content Management System) that we could use across many domains, each domain bringing up different content. It needed to be fast as we are anticipating around 15,000 visitors per week with some intensive database calls. Compsoft was very good at recommending the technology based on similar previous projects and the feedback they have had.

“Compsoft offers the complete package with .Net applications, from websites, to databases, to server set up. So to have one contact for all our business requirements has been great and I will most definitely continue to use them for future products and support.”

Compsoft is proud of the services delivered to The Institute of Certified Bookkeepers and continues to provide .NET training, .NET consultancy and .NET application development. If your business would like to explore these services further, please contact us.
