Compsoft Relocates
Compsoft has acquired new premises that will house its bespoke development services, Equinox support services, Obelisk, and its digital design agency, Bluesulphur.
The three story building, named Delta House after Compsoft's flagship product from over a quarter of a century ago, is situated in Oriel Court, Alton's premier business park which is also home to Mirago, a search engine which was formed out of Compsoft in 1998. Oriel Court is less than a mile from the former office at Herriard House on Mill Lane.
The new office will provide both Bluesulphur with purpose built design studio facilities and Compsoft with more space for its growing business. Managing Director Phil Lenton is excited by the prospect of moving into Delta House; “With the successful introduction of Bluesulphur, the old office no longer offered a practical layout to support the growing team. And with major projects under way for our developers and designers, we needed a place that could support more staff as the business grows. Delta House offers us the flexibility to grow, and provides us with the level of facilities that customers would expect from a leading technology company.”
As mentioned above, the name Delta House stems from the flagship product developed by Compsoft throughout the 1980s; Delta became a market leading database development tool and, testament to its reliability and ease of use, is still in use in many businesses even to this day.
Compsoft plc’s address is:
