Nakheel Booking Solution
Compsoft is proud to announce the Nakheel appointment setting application, a bespoke web-based solution to coordinate bookings to view new properties made available by the United Arab Emirates developer.
Nakheel PJSC, based in Dubai, is renowned as the developer of the Palm Trilogy and the World, exclusive
residential, leisure and business properties off the coast of Dubai. With developments being released in phases and with the demand being very high, Nakheel required a means to coordinate the scheduling of appointments using the website.
Digitas, part of the Publicis Groupe, provides web and digital services. Working for Nakheel, Digitas recently launched the new corporate website and was asked to coordinate the delivery and integration of the booking solution with the website. As specialists in front end design, Digitas needed a provider of high-end functionality to support them in successfully completing the project.
Compsoft was brought on board to work closely with Nakheel and Digitas to develop the scheduling solution. From the outset it was clear that the solution
had to be in place for Nakheel’s next property launch; the time frame was tight.
Reacting to the opportunity, senior management from Compsoft flew out to Nakheel’s office in Dubai to undertake an intensive two-day workshop. Throughout the sessions, business and functional requirements were identified and later translated into a specification with use cases; this became the blueprint for application development.
Four weeks after the commencement of the project, Compsoft’s development team handed over the complete application on time.
Managing Director for Compsoft, Phil Lenton, is pleased with the achievements of the development team: “we took on what we new was going to be a very demanding project for a very high-profiled customer. The whole team has responded brilliantly to the challenge, really stepping up to the mark and, ultimately, delivering beyond the customer’s expectations. Compsoft looks forward to working closely with both Nakheel and with Digitas in to the future.”
